Dr. Sharonne Simmons has 23 years of experience in public and private school education. She is a certified and licensed classroom teacher and former school administrator in North Carolina Public Schools. She earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Fayetteville Technical Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K-6), and a Master of School Administration, both from Fayetteville State University. She is a North Carolina Principal Fellow.
Dr. Simmons' Doctor of Education (Educational Leadership) degree was conferred upon her in August 2018 from Gardner-Webb University. Dr. Simmons is well-versed in Spanish. She has taken several Spanish classes in middle school, high school and college and has grasped a strong command of this beautiful language. She counts it a privilege to teach the students a second language.
