Teachers of the Year 2024-2025
Mrs. Terrie Jordan has over 30 years of teaching experience in Cumberland County Public Schools. She is a licensed, certified, retired elementary school teacher. She has a Master’s degree in Reading Education, is a National Board-Certified Teacher and certified in Montessori Education. She also worked as an adjunct teacher at UNC-Pembroke in the Birth through Kindergarten Program. She has a heart for teaching the whole child in a Developmentally Appropriate manner. Mrs. Jordan effectively serves as our School Improvement Team Chair and Hospitality Chair. Mrs. Jordan is a valuable asset to Kid Stars Rising Christian Academy. We are honored to name Mrs. Jordan as our 2024-2025 Elementary School Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Susan Bailey received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. She received her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Pembroke University. She received her National Board Certification in 2006. Mrs. Bailey loves teaching children and is excited to be part of KSR Christian Learning Academy. Mrs. Bailey goes above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis. One of the greatest attractions in her classroom is Waddlesville, a duck town where the middle/high school students can earn furniture and other accessories for their duck spaces based on their academic performance in History Class. It is a great honor to name Mrs. Bailey as our 2024-2025 Secondary School Teacher of the Year!
