Karen Doyle
K-3 Substitute Teacher

Karen Doyle was born and raised in Upstate New York, where she graduated in 1969 from Savannah High School in Savannah, NY. After graduation, she became a medic in the U.S. Women’s Army Corps where she met her husband, George. They have been married 52 years and have two grown children and five grandchildren. In her spare time, she likes to crochet and is learning to play the piano. In 1998, Mrs. Doyle received her Bachelor of Theology Degree from Christian Life School of Theology.

Throughout her years in ministry, Mrs. Doyle has been active in various teaching and leadership positions in her church and has been on mission trips to Trinidad and Ukraine teaching evangelism. For ten years, Mrs. Doyle served as a substitute teacher and instructional assistant for Cumberland County Schools at Montclair Elementary School.  It is while at Montclair that she was blessed with meeting and working with Dr. Sharonne Simmons. Mrs. Doyle believes it is very vital for children today to get a strong Christian-based education.

Over the past five years, Mrs. Doyle has served at Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy in several capacities, including Associate Principal, prekindergarten/kindergarten teacher, and first grade teacher.  We are blessed to have Mrs. Doyle return back to us in the role of substitute teacher.
